Thank god that's over

Okay I have finally escaped basketball season and not a second sooner, mind I tell you. That shit is ridculi and trying to cap it gives the Chuck severe migraines. I am primed and ready to tackle on the remainder of Baseball season and before you know it, it is time for football. There really is no greater football capper than myself. Just wanted you to be duly informed on my wagering acumen before I end this post. I will post any plays before the end of the day. Until then, remember that I have seen the future and it would behoove you to listen to my sage advice.

Blah Blah Blah Blah

Yeah I am a bit perturbed at the events that unfolded two nights ago but, at the same time, the Chuck was elated to escape with a push. My new total is 5,385 units. Currently, the line is set at Orlando -2. It is very tempting to take a stab at the Lakers winning this game tonight but after much thought and deliberation, the Chuck has decided to fade the Magic and lay the paltry 2 points. I like Orlando to win this game handily and even the series. I placed 600 units on tonight's game and fully expect to be rewarded tomorrow.

Let's try this one more time

Okay, I admit it. I was dreadfully wrong. I had to reasses myself after the 25 point blow out. As such, I will only be betting 500 units on the Orlando Magic tonight. The four point spread seems fair and I am still not convinced the Lakers are going to run away with this thing. That's it for now.

NBA Finals

The Chuck exercised some control and decided to take a hiatus from wagering. However, with the advent of the NBA finals tonight, I am back and better than ever. My last play was horrendous and I deserved to lose the 770 units I laid on Denver. With that loss, my new total stands at 6,535 units. I've had many days to ponder this matchup and I will play this game heavily.

When I was contemplating this series, I was looking at the matchups between the two teams and trying to identify any particular one that might pose a mismatch too difficult for one team to handle. Well, I have identified two. First, who the fuck is going to check Kobe? Pietrus? Not the best of the options but it will have to do. As egregious of a mismatch as that is, let me you ask you this. Who the fuck is going to check Dwight Howard? Andrew Bynum? Yeah, tell me how that one works out. This might be even more comical than Pietrus checking Kobe. Look, either matchup poses serious problems for the other team. As dominating as Kobe can be and maybe he can impose his will on this series but my money is going to be Dwight Howard in this game. This guy is monster and quite frankly, LA has no answers for this man. They can try to foul him like that genius Mike Brown attempted to do. By the way, how the hell does he still have his fucking job? I mean, I knowing stopping Howard is not easy but you sure as hell can come up with a better plan than fouling the man. But I digress. Phil is too smart to attempt any asinine approach that has already failed. He will deploy many bodies on Howard and try to wear him down. If the Magic can get outstanding perimeter support, I see them winning this game. As for Kobe, he's going to get his. What they have to do is stop Trevor Ariza and Gasol. Odom is a non factor and Fisher is nice point guard but what the Magic have to do is contain Kobe to 30 and stop Ariza. My gut feeling is that series goes six and the Magic will prevail. I look for Orlando to steal one of the first two games in LA. It can be game one or two, but with the number posted at 6, I doubt that it will matter. The Magic covers this number. The Chuck in his infinite wisdom has bet accordingly and put a princely sum of 1,000 units on the Orlando Magic +6. We'll see how that works out. Peace.
