7,305 units is where my new total stands, thanks in large part to the Orlando Magic sucking big donkey balls at the end of the game. Ahh yes, I was counting my loot and giddy with anticipation of perhaps a Cleveland loss. But no, the powers that be snatched away a sure victory from the Chuck and he is none to pleased, let me tell you. Seems like the Chuck's crystal ball has some kinks in it.

I have one play tonight and that is in the association. The lakers are 5 point dog on the road and the Chuck has laid his money on the Nuggets to cover this spread. I know that five seems like an awful high number but I have a strong inclination that the Nuggets win this by double digits. I put another 700 units on this one.

Sure fire lock for free

Honestly, I cannot believe the Denver Nuggets laid down like they did last night and in the process costing the Chuck 660 units. At least I was prophetic in my assesment of Bret Myers and won 480 units on the Marlins to mitigate my losses. On the night, I was down 180 units, bringing my total to 8,075 units.

Looking to tonight's NBA game, the line is currently set at Cleveland +7 1/2. Out of curiousity, are the books watching the same freaking series as the Chuck. How Cleveland warrants a 7 1/2 point cushion is beyond comprehension and as such, the Chuck feels compelled to take the Magic to cover this number. Seeing that Cleveland has yet to cover a number bigger than 1, the Chuck laid a cool 700 units on this game. Look, Cleveland might win this game but this number is way too big and so far as I can see, the Cavaliers have no answer for Dwight Howard. He has been the bane of their existence this entire year. I will stick with the trend and do not be surprised to see Orlando win this contest outright. Always remember, the Chuck knows best.

Where's the fix?

So I was wrong. I'll admit it. The fix was not in and the Chuck loses 550 units. Serves me right. I should have listened to myself and realized the Cavaliers are a fraud. Either way I was wrong and now my total stands at 7,705 units.

Looking to tonight's NBA game, I was very tempted to jump on the early line of Lakers -5 1/2 and fade LA. However, after further inspection of this intriguing matchup, I have decided to go the other way. First, the line jumped to 6 and I had this image of all these idiots wearing propeller hats and rainbow suspenders betting the farm on LA. Then it dawned on me that Denver has figured this Laker team out. If not for their inability to inbound the ball, this team should be up 3-1. Now, I am not by any means endorsing a Denver victory but I am predicting that this game will be a lot closer than the line indicates. I have a hunch that this comes down to the final possession before a winner is declared. I took Denver and the six points for a cool 600 units.

I also played one baseball game, just to whet my appetite before I start playing these games in earnest. I took Florida to beat the Phils, laying 250 units to win 480 units. Bret Myers is an abomination and for him to be an almost 2-1 favorite is laughable.

Chucky's back for more loot

After a nice long weekend, I feel rejuvenated and am ready to dominate these NBA playoffs. Just to recap, I won my Friday play for 800 units, pushing my total to 8,255 units. I was on the train when I attempted to put my wager in on Denver last night but I was too late as the game had already commenced. No need to worry because, I am the best handicapper ever to be seen.

Turning to tonight's action, I have declared a winner. As much as I hate to do it, I am going to play Cleveland tonight and defy all logic and reason. Why, you ask? Even though the Cavaliers should be down 3-0 in this series and have been thoroughly outplayed by the Magic, I believe the conspiracy theory is in. Look, the NBA wants Kobe vs. Lebron and they want a seven game series. Seeing that the referees are more than willing to comply, look for some insanely ridiculous calls to against the home team and the Cavaliers to win by more than 1 1/2 points they are laying. I put 500 units on this game. I actually might start playing baseball soon enough, maybe even today. So stay tuned.

Hockey???Go Figure.

Serves my dumb ass right for playing hockey on a whim. Nevertheless, I covered my Denver play and broke even on the night. I should have played the money line but as I stated before, those never really work out for the Chuck. What has been working out for the Chuck lately is the NBA playoffs and tomorrow should be no exception. This just in: Cavaliers are gay. The number has escalated to 9 as men with fungus for brains mindlessly bet on the Cavaliers, defying all reason and logic. The Chuck will not succumb to such idiocy. Instead, I laid a sizable wager on the Magic to cover that inane number. How much you ask? I put 800 units on the Magic to cover that spread. I will lay off the hockey and be content with my uncanny ability to make every correct call in the Association. Remember, if you are not with the Chuck then you, my friend, are not in a very good place.

As advertised

Be honest. I know you were snickering at the Chuck when those gay ass Cavaliers were up by 15 at the break. You were probably reveling in the fact that the Chuck was well on his way to a loss. Let this be a lesson to you, I am not to be trifled with and in the end, I will always prevail. Yes, I know, I won again last night as the Magic proved me right again and those gay ass Cavaliers lose outright at home, just as I suspected. With my 600 unit increase, my total now stands at 7,455 units.

Switching to tonight's action, I have a rather tepid feeling about the lone NBA game. The line is currently set at Lakers -5 1/2 points and as much as I want to take the Lake show here, I feel that Nuggets go back to Denver with this series knotted up. Hence, I laid 300 units on Denver to cover the 5 1/2 point they are receiving. I was tempted to play the money line, but those things never really work out for the Chuck.

As you are well aware, since this inception of my quest for a million units, I have yet to play a hockey game. It's not that I don't like hockey, but it's those egregious spreads that bother the fuck out of me. Take tonight's action on Carolina at Pittsburgh. Currently if you take Pitt you have to lay 200 units to win 100 units. On the flip side if you take Carolina your 100 units will get you 170 units. The 30 unit differential is what bothers me. In baseball, you will see at most a 20 unit differential. Well, seeing that my displeasure for the system will not enact a change by the books, I am resigned to sit out most of the time. But I will play this game tonight because I have a sneaky suspicion that Carolina wins this game and the odds are high enough for me to lay some loot. I took Carolina for 300 units to win 510 units.

I will be going to New York City for the long weekend, so I might being posting my games ahead of time. Keep in touch to see what the Chuck has in store for all of the needy. Peace.

How do I keep winning?

Well it is quite simple: I am quite possibly the best that has ever been. I know it is an enigma to those who cannot comprehend the greatness that is the Chuck but I am here to help you. Yes I know, I won again as the Nuggets covered the number. I raked in another 500 units, bringing my total to 6,855 units. Switching to tonight's action, I have done extensive analysis in order to bring you yet another winner.

I know you have been itching to see which side the Chuck will pick tonight and I will comply with your wishes. You have the James Gang running amok in the East, adminstering beat downs at will. They are in full bootstomp mode and they are well rested as well. Meanwhile, you have the Magic led by their corpulent leader who I absolutely despise. I was ready to take the Cavaliers as long as the number was reasonable but for some reason I could not pull the trigger, especially with the number being - 8 1/2. Maybe it's the gayness of the Cavalier mascot or the fact that they have no low post presence. Maybe it was the fact that in the last 10 meetings, Cleveland has beaten Orlando only three times and never by a margin greater than 7. Regardless, I could not make myself do it. So in my infinite wisdom, I laid my loot on the Orlando Magic to cover the 8 1/2 points they are receiving for 600 units.

Rain Rain go away

Due to the inclement weather last night, my sure fire winner was washed away. I, however, do not fret such trivialities because I have an infinite amount of winners at my disposal. As much as I hate betting on basketball, I do enjoy playing the NBA playoffs and tonight is no exception. The books have the Denver Nuggets as a road dog with the Lakers being favored by 6 1/2 points. The Nuggets are well rested, as they easily disposed of the Hornets and the Lakers struggled to rid themselves of those pesky Rockets. Billups, Melo and the rest of the D-town crew seem to be hitting on all cylinders. I understand that tinseltown is ready to rock the house tonight and Kobe and the boys are hyped as well, but my money is on the Nuggets to cover this spread and possibly stealing the game outright. As such, the Chuck laid down 500 units on the Nuggets to cover the 6 1/2 points. I will not opine on what you should do but logic would dictate that following the Chuck would be a wise decision.

All hail the Chuck

To recap, I went 1-1 on Thursday dropping 50 units, which left my total at 4,955 units. On Sunday, I hit my daily double and cashed in on both of my plays for the sweet tune of 1,400 units. My new total now stands at a very robust 6,355 units. I like one game tonight and it involves the Marlins and the Diamondbacks. I will take the Marlins to win this game and place 300 units to win 330 units. There is not too much that I like out there tonight. Sometimes, the best move is the one you don't make. On that note, I will leave you so I may go analyze tomorrow's game for you knuckle heads. Peace.

My winners for today

Take these to the bank for I have spent countless hours dissecting these games. As such, I will play them for handsome sums. You, on the other hand, will probably be on the side lines cursing me as I prove again why I am the King.

Lakers -12 1/2 for 700 units
Orlando +2 1/2 for 700 unit.

That should keep you busy for a bit. I am off t the OTB to place a couple wagers on the Preakness. I like Mine that Bird to win it outright.

Orlando and Boston

Okay, I was a bit peeved at the choke job that Orlando pulled and how it cost the Chuck 660 units but I am over it. I should have put my money on the Lakers but I was not sure with that large number. No matter, I have two NBA plays tonight and I am fading both favorites, something I loathe to do but feel that the circumstances dictate for me doing so. I took Orlando -7 for 500 units and I also took the Lake Show - 8 1/2 for another 500 units. I feel stupendous about this daily double and look forward to building my bankroll up to a respectable level. By the way my total now stands at 5,005 units after taking that 660 unit hit on Tuesday.

It was really hard for me take Orlando here since their coach is a miserable sloth who continuously costs me money. However, after Dwight Howard basically called him an incompetent bitch in front of the world, hopefully he will get the message and feed the ball to Howard down low. Additionally, if I see Turkulu or whatever his name is driving the lane for some outlandish shot in crunch time, I might have to put a contract out on Van Gundy myself. Nevertheless, I fell that Orlando will take care of business at home.

The Rockets are done. Stick a fork in them. You heard it here just like you heard it everywhere, Lake Show in a rout. No need to expound on this since it so elemental that Stan Van Gundy could get it. I am done for now. Peace.

I did it again

The Chuck was delighted to see the Mavericks cover that number by a measly 1/2 point and thereby bringing the Chuck an additional 500 units to his ever growing total. My total now stands at 5,665 units. As you stand there and wonder at how I achieve my brilliant prognosticating, I can only tell you that I have an innate ability that many, if not all, of you lack.

Getting back to tonight's action, I like one game. The Chuck has pored through voluminous amounts of information in order to bring you this game, so listen wisely. I like the Orlando Magic to win this game outright tonight, as I am not convinced that the Celtics can handle the big man down low. The line is currently set at Celtics -2 and I will gladly take the Magic for 600 units to cover that number. By the way, do not think I have abandoned the Baseball picks, I am just laying low and letting the season formulate a bit before I attack it with a vengeance unknown to mankind.

Ready to take over

Oh yes, the Chuck is well rested after a weekend of nothing but sleep and relaxation. I did not even bother playing the weekend slate of games and my mind is fresh and invigorated. On a positive note, I hit both of my plays on Friday, as promised. Raking in 1,700 units made the Chuck happy indeed and also brought his total to 5,165 units. Oh yes, the Chuck is ready to take over the world.

I have one play for tonight and it should be good as gold. The Chuck will take Dallas to cover the 1 1/2 points they are laying against Denver at home. Look, I think Dallas sucks and their mascot is about as gay as the Cavalier. But, I really can not see them being swept. As much as I like Cleveland bootstomping the Hawks tonight, my money is going to be on the Mavericks for the tidy sum of 500 units. I might pull the trigger on the Cavaliers but only if that line comes down a bit.

Who knew?

Not me. I am a bit peeved at the Hawks and the despicable performance they turned in last night. No matter, because even when I am losing I still see the bigger picture. Losing 880 units is not a big problem when you have the lock of all locks tonight. My total is at 3465 units. I am placing a huge wager on the Magic tonight, because the number that is posted is deficient in so many ways, I do not have the time to explain the lunacy of this number. Currently the line is set at Magic -4 1/2 and I have taken full advantage of this low number by placing a 1200 unit wager.
I am also breaking my one wager a day ration. I put another 500 units on the Lakers to cover the 1 1/2 points they are receiving on the road to the Rockets. I will be 2-0 in these games and my total will be where it needs to be.

Back from the dead

I was out of commission yesterday as I had to battle the swine flu and was bedridden for the entire day. The Chuck is back and better than ever today and after a bout of the swine flu, he is ready to gamble. Good thing I laid off yesterday because I was seriously contemplating taking the Magic but I decided to lay off. I did lose my previous 500 unit play on the Hawks and dropped 550 units. My current total is now at 4,345 units.
For my play tonight, I will continue to fade the Hawks and gladly receive my 13 points in the process. Let me tell you something, the Cavaliers a gay lot. If you have been reading this blog for some time, then you are well aware to my aversion to the Cavalier mascot. They will not cover this number. Why, you ask? Because I have deemed it so and I would strongly urge you to heed my advice. If you do not have the intestinal fortitude to lay the lumber on the Hawks, I would strongly reccomend you not playing this game at all. As for me, I am not you, and hence I am almost assured of certain victory. Seeing that I have defeated the mythical swine flu in one day, I am feeling rather lucky. I put 800 units on Atlanta to cover the 13. As for you, do whatever you please.

And the winner is......

The winner is me and don't you forget about it. The Chuck won his only play yesterday as the Magic added a cool dime to the Chuck's total. My total now stands at 4,895 units. I have another NBA play tonight that is sure to pique the interest of all those who have been struggling. Without further delay, I give you the Atlanta Hawks +11 1/2 points. I put 500 units on this game and I will be dancing all the way to my man's house.

You win some and you lose some

Well the luck of the chuck was not with me the last two wagers I placed. I lost my wager on Friday as the hapless Padres wasted a brilliant performance by Peavy. My new total now stands at 3,895 units. No need to fret because the Chuck always comes out ahead. I have one play tonight and I can tell you with a fair degree of confidence that it will come to fruition. I will fade the Orlando Magic and the 1 1/2 points they are receiving against those gutless Celtics for 1,000 units. That is all, you may resume with your normal daily activities.

Friday, May 1, 2009

Unbelievable

Well for what it's worth, that was one hell of a game. Doesn't change the fact that the Bulls squandered away a double digit fourth quarter lead and in the process, lost the Chuck 550 units. I have neither the time nor the energy to give you my analysis on today's pick. I am straying away from the NBA and will play the San Diego Padres for 600 units to win 720 units. Take this one to the bank as Peavy owns the Dodgers. There were a slew of games that I loved but for the sake of risking my total, I have laid off and put my money on the Pads. I suggest you do the same, if you know what is good for you.
