The Chuck won both of his plays last night and collected another 600 units to push his total units to 3,170. Maryland, who looked like they were going to lose by 50, miracolously covered the number bringing a smile to the Chucky Chill's handsome face. And in the battle of the Mountain People, BYU easily dispatched those psuedo ballers from the Air Force Academy. For those who think that the Chuck has lost his touch, keep thinking that and see where it gets you. As gifted as I am, I am not immune to the occassional cold streak, where for some inexplicable reason my handicapping radar malfunctions slightly. What you have to remember is that the cold streaks are never for an extended period of time and soon enough I will be collecting my riches.
The Chuck has honed in on two outstanding plays in the NCAA. The first game of interest involves the Duke Blue Devils and the Clemson Tigers. The line is set at Duke laying four points on the road. Just to let you know, the Chuck lost a huge bet last year betting against Clemson when they played Duke on the Road. Clemson not only covered the number but won outright, causing much pain to the Chucky. With that in mind, I am still taking the Duke to cover this number. I would not be surprised to see Coach K and his boys administer a severe beat down. Clemson with its gaudy record, in my not so humble opinion, is a fraud. They collect wins against the bottom half of the ACC and other inferior programs. The two marquee programs that they have faced, UNC and Wake, easily disposed of them and revealed them for what they are. Until they have beaten some one of note, I refuse to acknowledge them as a top tier program. Duke, as much as I despise them, is a juggernaut. They are extremely disciplined, vastly taleted, and well coached. They also receive favorable calls from the referees and, with the exception of last year's loss, they own Clemson. This is the Chuck's top play of the day and I will take Duke for 500 units.
The next game that I will be playing is also in the ACC with the Virginia Cavaliers facing the Boston College Eagles. First of all, any team with the gay Cavalier mascot automatically raises the Chuck's suspicions. For my previous take on this subject please refer to why a cavalier is gay. Add to the fact, that Virginia is deplorable and enters this contest with five consecutive losses and BC enters this contest with four consecutive wins, you figure it out. Accordingly I will take BC, laying 2 1/2 points, to cover this number for 300 units. There you have it, two sure fire winners for you tonight. As Bob Dylan was fond of saying, "You don't need a weatherman to know where the wind blows." What Mr. Dylan failed to note was that you do need the Chuck to know where the loot blows.
