Serves me Right

Why I backed the Cleveland Cavaliers is an enigma only to be answered by the fact that Chuck had a rare lapse in judgment. Nonetheless, I still went 3-1 last night and raked in another 370 units to push my total to 4,330 units. Upon looking at tonight's action, the Chuck has a rather tepid feeling towards tonight's slate of games. There are, as luck would have it, games that the Chuck feels worthy of posting on this site.

Our first matchup is between the Detroit Pistons and the New Jersey Nets. Detroit is fresh off a loss to those despicable Cleveland Cavaliers and now has to travel to the cosmopolitan center of the free universe, East Rutherford, NJ to face the Nets, who were blown to bits by the Bucks two nights ago. Given the fact that Detroit is on the back end of a back to back, I feel that the Nets will cover the 1 point they are laying and redeem themselves in the process. I put 200 units on the Nets.

In my next wager, I shift focus to the matchup between the Lakers and the Bucks. The Bucks are terrible and despite blowing out NJ the other night, I can not in my right mind back such an atrocity of a team. For some reason the back court of Charlie Bell and Ramon Sessions does not instill fear in the Chuck's heart. The Lakers are favored by 6 1/2 points and I will gladly place 300 units on them.

These are the only two picks that I have for now, but as always, that is subject to change, depending on my mood. My advice to you is to stay tuned for the Chuck is known to strike when people least expect it.
