NCAA plays
Okay here are my NCAA NIT plays for today. I like Baylor to beat San Diego State with the line at Baylor -1 for 200 units. I also like ODU to cover the two points they are receiving from Bradley for another 200 units. I basically threw a dart twice and it landed on these two teams. Seeing that I am blessed, I do not doubt for one second that I will hit both plays. If you do not believe me, bet against me and see where that gets you.
Odds and Ends
I went 1-1 last night but ended the night in positive territory, thanks to my brilliant Orlando call. The Chuck raked in 170 units last night and increased his total to 3,960 units. That Oregon State seems to be the proverbial thorn in my side. Seems like the PAC 10 in general has eluded the grasp of the Chuck's profound mind. Fear not my friends, for the PAC 10 has been vanquished from the tournament and the Chuck will not be tempted to throw away his hard earned dollar. I leave that nonsense up to people such as yourselves.
The Chuck has been hard at work making sure his NBA plays are up to par and he likes a whole slew of games on the Association's slate. Let's start with the LA Lakers at the Charlotte Bobcats, where the line is currently set at Lakers - 5 1/2. Little known fact, Charlotte has covered against the Lake Show 7 of the last 8 meetings between the two squads. In those eight meetings, Charlotte has won 5 of them outright. The Lakers are on an extended east coast trip where they have played extremely well, only losing to Atlanta, sporting a 4-1 record. Listen, the Lakers are going to be tired and Charlotte has traditionally caused trouble for them. Moreover, 78% of the public wagers are being placed on the Laker's side. I will play the contrarian theory and place 300 units on the Bobcats to cover that number. What you do is of no concern to me.
I have made it no secret that I have a severe aversion to backing the Cleveland Cavaliers because of their gay ass mascot. However, there are times when the Chuck swallows his pride and goes contra to his beloved mascot indicator. This is one of the times. Detroit visits Cleveland tonight and the Cavs are a 9 1/2 point favorites. Cleveland is money at home and they cover when they are playing at home. Detroit has been less than stellar of late and I see a first class boot stomping tonight as King James and his band of merry cavalier men take care of business. I placed another 300 units on the Cavs. For my college picks tune in a bit later as I have not yet done my research on the NIT games.

Orlanda v. Miami
In attempts to gear up my NBA plays, I have released the Chucky super lock of the day. My gambling prowess is somewhat legendary and you will see firsthand my bankroll balloon to insane amounts. I like one game in the Association tonight and that involves the instate battle between Orlando and Miami. Stan Van Gundy, the grotesque sloth, returns to his old stomping grounds where he was unceremoniously stripped of his coaching duties by the king of all cherry pickers, Pat Riley. Although my opinion of Van Gundy as a human being doesn't amount to much, I do give him some deference when it comes to his coaching skills. I have consulted my crystal ball and it assures me that Orlando wins by eight points. Seeing that the line is set at Orlando - 2 1/2, I feel confident in taking Orlando for 500 units. I have just completed assembling my baseball score predictor and am very anxious in giving it a trial run. I will unveil it as soon as the season commences.
Monday Plays
The Chuck split his two games on Sunday dropping 30 units and 60 units on the weekend. Including my 60 unit loss on Friday, my total now stands at 3,790 units. Needless to say, I was disappointed in Oklahoma's effort and UConn covering by a point was not palatable to the Chuck as well. Nevertheless, I am poised to embark on a long stretch of pocketing cash from many future winners. As the end of the Collegiate season is now imminent, I have been earnestly concentrating on the NBA game by tweaking my Crystal Ball, which has been malfunctioning as of late. I was going to return it for a new one but upon further reflection, I have decided to fix the existing one I have and make due.
On the collegiate level, there is one game for tonight and that involves UTEP and Oregon State, both teams that have burnt the Chuck in the past. Currently the line is set at Oregon State favored by 1. I cannot figure OSU and I really have no desire to. For that reason, I will go with UTEP, who by the way is the alma mater for the great Tim Hardaway. I placed 300 units on UTEP. I will post my NBA plays later if I feel compelled to do so.

My Sunday Plays
I split my two games yesterday and dropped 30 units. I like both underdogs to cover today. I put 300 units Michigan State to cover the 7 points they are receiving from Louisville. Louisville will probably win but I suspect it will be by less than 7. Same sentiments in the later game between Oklahoma and UNC. I put 300 units on OU to cover the 7 they are receiving from UNC. I was thinking about putting some money on the over in this game but refrained from doing so. I have many Chucky commitments today but I might play some NBA tonight. In the meantime, enjoy the free winners I gracefully bestowed upon you simpletons.

Seems like I erred
I must admit, I had an error in judgment. Either I overestimated Kansas' intestinal fortitude or underestimated Michigan State. That Kalin Lucas is some kind of player. Well, instead of having a winning night, losing the Kansas game brought the Chuck down to earth with all you other people. I went 2-2 and lost 6o units last night.
Two games today and I like them both. In the first game, I like Missouri to cover the 6 points they are receiving from UConn. I think Missouri will win this game outright and would not be surprised to see them win the whole tourney. I played them for 300 units.
I like Villanova to cover the 2 points they are receiving from Pitt. As I mentioned in my prior posts, I am not sold on Pitt. I took Nova for 300 units. There you go, another 2 free winners. Don't spend all the money in one place.

Rest of Tonight's Plays
After much deliberation, I have decided on the rest of tonight's action. In the early game between Syracuse and Oklahoma, I had much difficulty in picking a side. Almost to a point where I was not going to play this game. However, I realized the extent of my degeneracy and begrudgingly realized that I must play all the games. The line is set at Oklahoma -1. Everyone knows that Blake Griffin is as advertised and has the ability to win a game all by himself. That being said, I do not think Griffin alone can win this game. Syracuse, in my not so humble opinion, has the best backcourt in the nation and considering Oklahoma's backcourt is the weakest component of that team, I leaned towards Cuse to cover this number. As great as Griffin is, I think Syracuse is more versatile and will prevail in tonight's matchup. The Chuck put 200 units on Syracuse.
In the other early game between Arizona and Louisville, I was again hesitant in picking a side. No doubt that Louisville is a far superior team but the 9 1/2 points they are laying is a big number and is not to be scoffed at. As much as I despise this Arizona squad because they have cost me money in the past and they shouldn't even be in this tournament, one must respect their recent body of work. Well, not really. I mean, who have they beaten? They beat a mountain west squad in Utah and Cleveland State. Let us be honest here and ask ourselves this simple question: Can Arizona make this game competitive? I will spare you the suspense and needless contemplation. The answer is a resounding no. Arizona is a sham and a mockery. Their head coach is a farce and just a year ago he was coaching a travel ball squad and providing color radio commentary for Arizona State. He has no relevant coaching experience and he is about to match wits with the great Pitino. He will most certainly be vanquished and forgotten. Also, it is not like the Wildcat players have some endearing affinity for the man where they want to save his job. He is an interim coach and his tenure is about to expire. Do yourself a favor and put some coin on the Cards to trounce the Wildcats. I, myself, put 300 units on Louisville.
In the final game of the night between UNC and Gonzaga, the Tarheels are favored by 8 points, another substantial number. I respect the Zags and although they play in a weak conference, they do step up and play the big boys when given the opportunity. They are 4-4 against NCAA tournament teams with wins over Maryland, Tennessee twice, and Oklahoma state. The team they are about to face is nothing like those aforementioned squads. In fact, when Gonzaga played Memphis they lost by 18. Granted they only lost to UConn by 5, it was early in the season, well before the Huskies got their flow. I see UNC absolutely thrashing the Zags and although 8 is a large number, I think you would be wise to take UNC and lay the points. I laid 300 units on the Tarheels to cover the eight and suggest you follow my suit.
My work here is done for tonight. After tonight is over and you are counting your freshly minted currency, all I ask is for you to think of me fondly. The Chuck is human and needs adulation once in a while. Actually, I could care less because at the end of the day, I am the best that ever was or will be.

What can I say?
As promised, the Chuck delivered large sums of money to his loyal followers last night as he capped a perfect 4-0 night. First of all, let me start by saying that I have mixed emotions about Duke's departure from the tournament. I am elated to see that fraud of a team getting absolutely decimated and being exposed in front of the entire world. I am elated that all of the Cameron geeks are lamenting their loss with the solace that they will be just as deplorable next year. However, I am saddened that I have lost a sure fire winner because I can no longer bet against those lowly Blue Devils. Oh well, I guess I will just have to make due. I forget to include my total in yesterday's post but the 990 units I dropped the previous had my total at 2,310 units going into last night's action. I added 1,600 units last night and my current total now stands at 3,910 units.
In my opinion the most dangerous team left in the tournament is Missouri. They are absolutely relentless. They have that swarming defense that wears opponents down, they pound the boards, and they are surging at the right time. They will be a most difficult matchup for the remaining teams. I am still not sold on Pitt. If Levance Fields does not hit that ludicrous three pointer, which he was out of his mind to take, they would be on a plane back home. I will be very interested in the Nova/Pitt line.
As for tonight's action, I have only played one game as of yet but plan on playing them all. The Chuck likes Kansas to cover the spread, which is set at Michigan State laying 1 1/2. I know I've been hating on Kansas on the first two rounds, but they have proven to the Chuck that they are, indeed, a final four caliber squad. As for Michigan State, they have not convinced the Chuck that they belong here. They should have lost to USC but inexplicably, they come out of the game with a victory. I do not see the same fate for the Spartans. Look for KU to dominate and take this one home. I put 400 units on the Jayhawks. I will post the rest of my plays as soon as I enter them with my man.

No Matter
It really does not bother the Chuck that he laid a goose egg last night and dropped 990 units because he is ready to double up via the NCAA tourney. That's right, you heard it here first, the Chuck will have more than 4,000 units in his account before the end of the weekend. How, you ask? Lest we forget we have the lock of all locks tonight. But before we get to that I did lay money on the other three games.
In the early games, I like Xavier to cover the 7 points they are receiving from Pittsburgh. For some reason, I just think that Pittsburgh is getting way too much hype and they are vulnerable. As such, the Chuck put 200 units on Xavier. I like UConn to cover the 6 1/2 points they are laying against Purdue, but I did so with some hesitation. This whole NCAA recruiting violation scandal has the Chuck rather uneasy. But that being said, Thabeet is just a monster and UConn is too deep and too talented for the Boilermakers. I put 300 units on UConn.
In the matchup between Missouri and Memphis, I like Missouri to cover the 5 points they are receiving from Memphis. This is my upset special of the week. Do not be surprised if Missouri wins this game outright and while the moneyline was tempting, I just played 300 units on Missouri covering the 5.
Finally, you have Villanova and Duke. I will not bore you with the myriad of reasons of why Duke will get blown out. Just know this, Duke will pay the Chuck handsomely. I laid 800 units on Villanova to cover the spread, which is set at Nova +2 1/2. I am a bit saddened that after tonight, Duke will no longer pay the Chuck handsomely. But as they say, all good things must come to an end.

Another gem of a play
I wasn't going to play any more games tonight but I happened to glance at the Richmond and UTEP matchup and, needless to say, I was salivating at the line that Vegas posted on this matchup. The line is set at Richmond -2. I, myself, has this line set at Richmond -6 1/2 and feel that it could even be higher. Listen, if you are finding it difficult to keep current with your bills and the mortgage is due, I would advise to lay the lumber on this game. I, for one, am laying quite a handsome amount on this game, 600 units, to be exact.
I have no interest in the NBA tonight and am gearing up for tomorrow's tournament action. I see a multitude of goldmines for me to fatten up on. Also, I am getting excited for Baseball, which I must say, is my strongest sport. For all of you squareheads who are in a downward spiral, play Richmond and you can thank me tomorrow. The Chuck will not be denied.

Enough of that nonsense
Well my experimentation with those useless trends has officially ended and I promise you, I will not be back to dabble again. The Thunder got dominated and the Chuck went 1-1 after Penn State salvaged a -30 unit night. My total now stands at 3,300 units. On a serious note, I do have some solid plays tonight and fully expect to have a perfect night.
The first game of note is between the Stanford Cardinals and the Oregon State Beavers. The line is set at Stanford -3 and the Chuck is fond of the Cardinals covering this number. Last time these two teams met, I thought Obama was going to try to use his clout to favor his brother in law, the coach of Oregon State. This did not happen. As such, I will take the Cardinals to cover this number for 300 units.
There are several other games that I am actively perusing but have yet to take action on. I will post any further picks soon. I am going to have a quaff of some refreshing ale and will report back to you. Until then, sit tight and wait for the Chuck's golden list of guaranteed winners.

Why Not?
I usually get a chuckle out of some of these systems that emphasizes certain trends. For instance, a certain team is 13-2 in their last 15 Tuesday night games at home where the opponent has a winning record. Complete folly, right? I have never tracked the efficacy of such trends but seeing that I do not see anything of note, I think I will try my hand at picking a game based on such silly trends.
I think this trend is appropriate for the Chuck's first foray into wagering on such asinine trends. Did you know that Oklahoma City is 12-2 ATS in their last 14 Tuesday games? Neither did I, but I am willing to lay 300 units on the Thunder to cover the 7 1/2 points they are receiving from the LA Lakers at home. As if this compelling tidbit of information wasn't enough, Oklahoma City is 17-5-1 in their last 23 home games. I honestly do not have a feel for this game but I thought it would be fun to experiment. Who knows, maybe this will burgeon into a bona fide lock producing system. Remember, even when the Chuck doesn't know, he still knows. Chew on that for a while.

Come get your free winners
The Chuck is feeling mighty fine this morning as he won his only play last night for 400 units, as Kentucky won outright against Creighton. With his most current cash in, the Chuck's total now stands at 3,330 units. I just came back from a nice morning run which I completed 6 miles in 50 minutes. As you may know, I have recently engaged in a friendly wager with a fellow co-worker as to whether or not the Chuck will complete a marathon under 4 hours by September. The wager is actually not so friendly since it involves a substantial amount of cash, 3,000 units to be exact. Although the added infusion of freshly minted coin is always welcome, this is not about the money. This is about crushing those who doubt the abilities of the Chuck. How can I put it simply: I am something like which you have never seen, a wonderment, a phenomenon of sorts. I understand that there are people out there scoffing at my handicapping acumen, but in the end, it will be I, the Chuck, who will stand victorious over all those naysayers.
As for tonight's action, I placed a nice wager on Penn State to cover the 11 points they are receiving from Florida. This may seem like a dangerous proposition considering Florida has posted double digit wins in their last two outings coupled with Penn State struggling to beat George Mason, but everything is not what it seems. Everything, in fact, is what the Chuck deems it to be. In this case, I predict a close match between the two NIT schools and the line posted by the books is folly, much like your attempt to discredit me. Do yourself a favor and play Penn State for all of your quarters in your change jar. I, myself, placed 300 units and fully expect to collect tomorrow. I will bring you additional winners if I spot any.

Kentucky
I have one play for tonight. I will take Kentucky to cover the 2 points they are receiving from Creighton in the NIT tournament. I placed 400 units on this game and if you were smart, you would do the same. You will soon witness the greatness that it is the Chuck. Do not doubt for one minute that I will stand alone as the greatest handicapper alive. All of those who follow will be rewarded with vast amounts of riches and all those who doubt will fester in their own puddle of miserableness. You have been warned.
WTF
I am still pondering my losses on Sunday and it is exceedingly frustrating to think of how USC blows it at the end and Missouri blowing a sure cover. Also, Oklahoma State swan diving at the end brings no joy into the heart of the Chuck. Nonetheless, the Chuck's three day wagering foray was still profitable. Going into Friday's action my total stood at 2,400 units. The Chuck was up 530 units on Friday, pushing his total up to 2,930 units.
I followed that by going 3-1 on Saturday, netting 770 units, thereby augmenting my total to 3,700 units. On Sunday, I lost 770 units and my total now stands 2,930 units. Although it was a profitable weekend, it could have been a monster weekend. I am not pressed, however, and neither should you be, for I am the Chuck and I will prevail. I have yet to peruse tonight's action but I intend to and I further intend to extend my winning ways. That is all, you will be informed when I post the golden list of winners for your wagering convenience.

USC
I placed another 300 units on the Trojans of USC to cover the 4 points they are receiving from Michigan State. That is it for today.

Cleveland State (+2 1/2)
Siena (+11 1/2)
400 Units

The Chuck is knocking
North Dakota State cost the Chuck a perfect morning slate, but he did hit his parlay. Missouri and Dayton are currently playing and it's too early to call the games, but they do look promising. Dayton is up by 4 and Missouri is up by 16. Looking to tonight's action, I placed 400 units on Utah to cover the 1 1/2 points against Arizona. I like Utah for a myriad of reasons: First, the mountain men seem to get it done when the Chuck lays the lumber on them; Second, the PAC 10 is weak; and Arizona should be playing in the NIT. Utah will throttle this team and this is the Chuck's proverbial "superlock" of the night.
I also put 200 units on Siena to cover the 2 points they are receiving from Ohio State. Call it a hunch, but the Chuck forecasts doom for the Buckeyes. Finally, going against PAC 10 hatred, I put 300 units on USC to cover the 2 points they are laying against BC. There you have it, another stellar night for those who choose to listen to the sage advice of the Chuck.

On the road to recovery
I fared well enough last night where I truly feel that an epic run is about to take place. I went 3-0 in the early games, netting 700 units. I finished 2-2 in the late games and dropped 60 units. Also, I forgot the 20 units I dropped the previous night. That nets the Chuck a grand total of 620 units, which added to his previous total of 1780 units would place him at 2,400 units.
For the early games, I like several games on the board.
I will give you my upset picks to start. In my first upset pick of the day, I like North Dakota State to cover the number, which is set at Kansas - 9 1/2. Just say the Chuck's crystal ball revealed this gem of a play to him and it would behoove you to do so as well. Accordingly, I placed 300 units on North Dakotas State.
Let me also state that I rarely play any parlays but since want to play these next two games with little downside, I have decided to place a parlay play. The Chuck placed a 200 unit parlay to win 500 units on Oklahoma State (+2) and Utah State (+5). I like both teams to win the their respective games outright. Tennessee does not impress me and Marquette with Dominic James is just another middle of the road squad.
The next game I like is Dayton to cover the 9 points they are receiving against West Virginia. I do believe WVU will win but not by the ambitious line set by the books. I placed 300 units on Dayton. My final early play is on Missouri to cover the 12 1/2 points they are laying against Cornell for 300 units.
Lastly, I would be remiss if I did not shit on Duke. It seethes me to no end to see them cover that number last night. Let this be known, I will bet against them every round of the tourney. I am sorry to say, this has become personal, which for the most part is not good. But in my case, it will turn out roses. Count on it, the Chuck has spoken. Peace.

Can it be?
I can feel a comeback in the works. There are several plays I already laid loot on. The first of which is the Mississippi State and Washington matchup. I think the SEC got disrespected by only getting three teams in the tourney and I further believe that Mississippi State will bring it home against Washington. As you are aware, I absolutely loathe the PAC 10 and nothing would bring greater joy into the Chuck's heart than to see the Huskies falter in the first round. I will take MSU for 300 units to cover the 6 1/2 points the are receiving.
The next game I will play is the Michigan and Clemson matchup. Just because Clemson annoys me to no end and Michigan is a feel good story, participating in the tournament for the first time in eleven years, I will take Michigan and the points for 300 units. By the way, the line is set at Clemson -4 1/2 points.
I also like VCU to cover the 8 1/2 points they are receiving against UCLA, again exhibiting my disdain for the PAC 10 schools. Plus, Eric Maynor is a cold beast and should make this close. I like VCU for 300 units.
My final game I played is, you guessed it, Binghamton and Duke. I mean seriously, one of these days a 15 seed is bound to knock off a 2 seed. Why not Binghamton? Even if Duke wins, I doubt it will be by more than 22 points. I will bet against those wretched Blue Devils for a tune of 300 units.
There you have it, my list of winners for you to chew on. I might not win them all, but then again, I am due. So take notice, the Chuck likes the spotlight to make a statement. If I were you, which I am most certainly not, I would heed the Chuck's advice to greater riches.

Northern Iowa
Here is my sleeper pick in my brackets and I will also play it for 300 units. I will take Northern Iowa to cover the 8 1/2 points they are receiving against Purdue. I do not think too much of the Big Ten and cannot extend the respect to Purdue to cover this number. Looks like A&M is going to take care of me, while LSU is making me sweat. Oh well, there are games aplenty today and tomorrow. At this point, I might as well play until I am content. Why not?
I am ready
I finally freaking won a game last night as the Magic thumped the Bucks last night. I did, however, lose the nightcap as Boise State proffered no resistance to Stanford's boot stomping. I am feeling especially optimistic as there are endless games for the Chuck to make his improbable comeback to fame and glory. I will dabble in the early games and seeing how those fare, I will wager the later games accordingly.
I like LSU to cover the number against Butler with the line currently set at LSU - 1 1/2. I know Butler is the darling of the mid majors with the likes of Gonzaga, but let me clue you in on something. If Butler played in the SEC they would not be in this tournament because they would struggle to be a .500 squad. They play in the Horizon league where the disparity in talent is tremendous from the SEC. LSU will win this game easily and in the process break the hearts of all those asinine assholes who picked Butler to win this contest. The Chuck will take LSU for 200 units.
I also like Texas A&M to cover against BYU. Normally, I would be inclined to the Cougars because they are from Utah and they are byproducts of the mountain folk. For reasons unknown to the Chuck, the merry mountain men of Utah has always taken care of the Chuckster. But, I must defer to Texas A&M because they have been playing outstanding ball of late and the rigors of the Big Twelve will aid them in defeating BYU, who hail from the Mountain West Conference. The line is set at BYU -3 and I suspect that A&M will win this game outright. I will post my other plays as soon as I am ready to pull the trigger.

Plays for tonight
I like Orlando to cover the 5 1/2 points they are laying on the road to Milwaukee. I will take the Magic for 200 units. I will spare you the motivation for me taking this wager since my analysis has been insanely abominable as of late. In the NCAA, I like Boise State to cover the 14 points they are receiving from Stanford for another 200 units. Again, I will not bore you with my thought process. Just know, I will be correct on these two games. The Chuck has not seen a drought like this in some time. I am due to explode to the upside.
What the hell is going on out here?
To quote the late Vince Lombardi, "What the hell is going on out here?". I am in a serious funk and I cannot seem to shake it. The Celtics lose on Saint Patrick's day on some bogus technical foul and the Chuck slides into a deeper abyss. But not to despair, for the Chuck will conjure up all of his resources to battle this recent spate of bullshit. I experienced a similar slide back in 07 and my bankroll was almost wiped out. I came back by exercising discipline and smart money management, something I have not done of late. By no means do I espouse a timid style of wagering, however, I am acutely aware of the need to bet according to recent performance. As such, I will be scaling my bets down until I regain some some footing.
I have no play for today but will post them soon. My total stands at 1,780 units. I need to tinker with my basketball predictor. I shall be back.

Blah blah blah blah
This losing shit is starting to wear the Chuck out and his patience is starting to wear thin. Toronto looked like a division III squad last night and they should be ashamed of themselves. Well, the Chuck is not deterred by such erroneous calls and will not let last night's lapse in judgment affect him. Dropping another 330 units my total now stands at 2,330 units.
I like one game in the NBA tonight and that is between Boston and Chicago. Boston has won the last six meetings between the two and in that stretch has covered all six. Again, I will ride the prevailing trend in attempts to keep my sanity with the recent spate of nonsense that has occurred. Boston is laying two points on the road, probably due to the recent poor play the Celtics have exhibited as of late. But, Chicago has not played worse and I like the Celtics to win this game easily. As such, I will lay 500 units on the Celtics to bring the Chuck back to prominence.
I am in the process of analyzing the other games but as of now, I will only play the games that I am certain of. In the meantime, I might post some useless drivel where I rant and rave about some ancillary matters just to make myself feel better. I will, however, be ready for this god forsaken tournament where the temptation to bet every game on the board is overwhelming.

Toronta at Charltotte
With no college ball tonight, the Chuck is relegated to the NBA and the pickings is rather slim, mind I tell you. No matter, because I have found a game that I rather fancy. Toronto is facing Charlotte with the Bobcats laying 7 1/2 points at home. Toronto has won 7 out of the last 10 meetings and covered 6 out of the 10 meetings. After winning 6 in a row, Charlotte has dropped its last three games and I do not see them covering such an ambitious number. I will put 300 units on this game. For those who are keeping track my total stands at 2,660 units and needs some serious medical attention. On Friday, I won 770 units going 3-1 but lost 1,100 units when the atrocity that is Duke covered the number against FSU. Go ahead and snicker now, because the Chuck is never down for more than quick second. He will reign supreme in the near future.
As a side note, I hate this World Baseball Classic. It sidetracks my early baseball handicapping, since I cannot get a feel for how the teams without their stars are performing as an entire unit. Usually, I will dabble in the preseason MLB games but I have laid off this year. No need to fret, since I will be in top notch form on opening day. And always remember, the Chuck is always right, even when he is wrong. Chew on that for a while.

Don't f**k with me
It's Monday, it's raining and those gay assholes from Duke casued the Chuck a nice sum of change and he is in no mood today. I apologize for my dismal performance of late, but I will regain my touch soon enough. I will post my picks, if any, for tonight's slate of games as soon as I shake this hangover. In the meantime, I will be picking my brackets, one of which will be a winner. Time to take a nap.

FSU to win the ACC
As you can surmise from the title, I have only one play today and that is for 1,000 units. Duke will lose this game outright. I got FSU and 7 1/2 points, what a wonderful country we live in. I could not play any games yesterday due to familial responsibilities, but I will indulge today, especially on some over inflated line such as this one.

My Plays for Tonight
I realize that I have some work to do in order to get my total back to the healthy levels it is accustomed to so I did some exhaustive research this afternoon. Starting in the NBA, I especially like the Detroit at Toronto matchup. I am keen on finding matchups where one team historically dominates another and this one fits the bill. Detroit has beaten Toronto 5 out the last 7 meetings and has covered in 7 of the last eight meetings. Tonight, Detroit is laying a single point. Toronto has dropped their last six games and I do not see any relief for them tonight. I will take Detroit laying the 1 point on the road for 300 units.
Taking the same theme, I switch to the collegiate level and to the Big 12 conference matchup between Texas and Baylor. Texas has beaten Baylor 24 straight times and I do not see this streak ending. They beat them both times this year and covered in both matchups. Texas is favored by a slim 3 1/2 point margin and the Chuck will pounce on this number. I put another 300 units on Texas.
For my final game, I would be remiss if I did not take advantage of the erroneous line that the Books had set on the Duke Gay Devils. Duke is currently set as 10 1/2 point favorite over BC. You cannot be serious with this number. Needless to say, the Chuck is giddy at the prospect of banking more loot over the most overrated team in America. Take BC and the points my friends. I put 400 units on this game and suggest you do the same. Take it for what you will but the Chuck will have an infusion of freshly minted coin to play with this weekend. Count on it.

TGIF
Well, the last couple of days has proven to the Chuck that he has been playing way too many games. On Wednesday, I played a total of 6 games dropping 1,050 units which brought my total down to 4,050 units. Yesterday I played a total of 7 games and lost 1,060 units and now stand at 2,990 units. Looking for a break out day, I will concentrate on playing only the strongest plays.
That being said, I found one early game that I am very fond of. It matches Kentucky and LSU. Kentucky's triumph over Ole Miss still does not resonate with the Chuck and he still views them as a fraud. LSU is currently favored by 1 1/2 points and I think they will easily dispatch the Kentucy Wildcats and I will take them to cover the points for 400 units. I am researching the other games in earnest and will have my plays posted shortly. I will not lose control and only play those games I am certain of.

San Diego State
I just put another 300 units on San Diego State to cover the 3 1/2 points they are getting against UNLV. This is it for today, I am a bit over extended. I will check with you tomorrow when I am collecting my winnings from my man. Peace.
ARRRGH
Well playing all these early games has certainly put a dent into my bankroll, but I am not stressed. I found three stellar games to win all of my loot back and I will pound the table on both of these games. The first game involves Pittsburgh and West Virginia with Pitt laying 4 points. I like Pitt to cover this number easily and will take them for 400 units. I also like Oklahoma laying 4 1/2 to cover that number easily over Oklahoma State for 300 units. Finally, I like Penn State to absolutely demolish Indiana and I will take them to cover the 8 1/2 points they are favored by for another 400 units. There it is a perfect night to make up for a horrid day. Count on it, the Chuck has spoken.
Early game woes
I can't seem to hit this noon game for the life of me. With Miami sucking ass, I will now have lost three consecutive noon games in a row. No matter, I like Arizona to cover against Arizona State. The line is Arizona State by 4 1/2 and I will take Zona for 300 units. Will post later games shortly. I am swamped with unnecessary shit at work which makes my wagering a bit difficult. Nevertheless, I fully expect to recoup my losses and roll into this weekends action with a significant increase in my bankroll. Count on it.
Nonsense, Pure Nonsense
As I sunk into my leather recliner, inebriated from a long night of drinking, I watch my night of hopeful wagers evaporate into a pile of garbage. Oh yes, the Chuck did not fare so well last night as team after team inexplicably disappointed the Chuck. First it was Utah, who showed their fatigue in dropping their first game after winning twelve straight. Then Boston decides to put in an overwhelming mediocre performance and drop their first game to the Heat after repeatedly dominating them in their last four previous meetings. Then the Oregon State Beavers fail to deliver even with Obama's mojo in their corner. I had an inkling yesterday not to touch these games but being a derelict gambler sometimes impedes the rational thought process. Unlike most, I have an uncanny ability to not let my past failures to interfere with my inevitable future success.
I was contemplating wagering on fewer games but then I quickly dismissed this notion. It's March and there are games to be played. For the first early game I will shift my focus to the ACC where Virginia Tech meets Miami. Both teams need to win in order to impress the NCAA committee. Especially Tech, which has been in a downward spiral losing 6 of their last 7. Miami has lost to Tech in both of their previous matchups, but somehow I do not think history will repeat itself today. It is difficult to beat a team three times in a season, especially when the disparity in talent is so slim. I should have applied this logic last night in the Oregon State game but failed to do so and lost my wager. I will take Miami, who are laying three points, for 300 units.
I also like Ole Miss to cover the spread against the free falling Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky has lost 5 out its last 6 and are fighting for a NCAA tournament bid. Unfortunately, except for Meeks, Kentucky has no heart. They make too many mistakes and are to erratic. Kentucky is laying 7 and I sincerely doubt that they will cover this number. I like Ole Miss for the tune of another 300 units. I will be diligently working through today's slate of games and I will post my plays later.

I can't help myself
I was going to take my lumps like a man and maybe sit back for the rest of the day but I just cannot let some of these games unattended. I got lucky with the Providence game as they squeaked out a push. I did not get so lucky with the LaSalle game and lost 330 units. But never fear, I have a whole slew of games to make my loot back. For those of you who are unaware, I am somewhat of a phenomenon, so take notice as I get ready to unleash my fury on the sportsbooks everywhere.
I will start with my plays in the Association tonight. The first game involves those merry mountain men of Utah against the Atlanta Hawks. The line is set at the Hawks laying 2 points at home. I suspect the only reason why the Hawks are favored in this contest is because Utah is on the second leg of a back to back. I, for one, will not heed such frivolous warnings and I think the Jazz will win their 13th game in a row. As the old adage goes, a trend is a trend is a trend. Anyways, there is no reason for me to think that the Hawks can stop this runaway train. The Jazz have Boozer and Kirilenko back and Deron Williams is a cold killer. In light of the above mentioned facts, I will place another 300 units on the Jazz to take care of me one more time.
Next, I will look to the Boston at Miami matchup. This game looks especially juicy, given the fact that Boston owns Miami. Boston has won their last six meetings against Miami, covering five of these meetings. I do admit that the injury to Rondo is somewhat of a concern, however, I think Marbury breaks out in this game. Currently, the line is set at Miami laying 3 1/2 points. It seems to the Chuck that this line is grossly maladjusted and I will look to take advantage accordingly. I will take the Celtics for a nifty 300 units.
Switching to the collegiate level, I look to the PAC 10 conference and the Stanford/Oregon State matchup. As you are well aware, the PAC 10 has been the bane of my existence and as a general rule, I try to avoid such matchups. Seeing that this is conference tourney season, I feel that it is an appropriate time for me to step back into the arena. The line is set at Stanford giving 7 points. I do not see Stanford covering this number nor do I see them winning this game. Although Stanford desperately needs this game to have any chance of making the tournament, it is of my opinion that they do not have the intestinal fortitude to achieve this task. In their two earlier meetings, Oregon State dominated both meetings winning by double digits in both games. Besides, there is a little known conspiracy floating out there that an executive order has been handed down by President Obama himself to help out his brother in law, who happens to be the head coach of OSU. I do not acknowledge the veracity of such reports, but I am of the belief that Stanford sucks. Look for OSU to win this game outright. I will put another 300 units on those feisty Beavers to cover this number.
If I see any other games worthy of posting I will do so. Until then, I suggest you start listening to my advice. For all of those who cannot fathom the greatness that is the Chuck, I suggest you wise up and start realizing that I am at the pinnacle of my game.

Here we go again
I forgot to mention in the last post LaSalle is favored by 3 points. The game has just entered Overtime. I just put 300 units on Marquette to cover the 7 1/2 points against St. John's. I wasn't going to play this game but I cannot control myself. This tournament thing is like crack cocaine. You know it's hazardous but you just can't stop once you start. I really don't have any feel on the game itself but Marquette has handled the Johnnies in the last two meetings and they are fresh. The two ealrier games are still pending, although the Providence play seems like it won't come through. Damn them Blue Demons. Damn them to hell.
Just what the Chuck needed
The Chuck redeemed himself with an outstanding night, going 4-0 in my later games and splitting the earlier contests going 1-1. For the day I was up 1,170 units, giving a much needed boost to my total. I now stand at 5,100 units. To recap, the mountain men of Utah took care of the Chuck once again and the Spurs disposed of the Bobcats. Also, Seton Hall won handily, just as I predicted and Cleveland State won outright. As I am sitting here pondering my overall handicapping superiority, I have been diligently working on giving you more winners.
For some reason the Chuck has this overwhelming need to play the early games. It gives him something to do while he is slaving away at work. Today is no exception and despite yesterday's defeat at the hands of Depaul, the Chuck feels compelled to bet against those fools again. I am absolutely flabbergasted at how Cincy loses to a team that had not won one conference game all year. Currently, Providence is favored by 9 points. I know it is a hefty number, but my thinking is that Providence absolutely needs this game and they will be jacked up to perform. Meanwhile, Depaul played yesterday and they absolutely suck and for them to make this game is competitive is a reach. As such, I will gladly take Providence laying the points for 300 units.
In another early matchup, I like LaSalle to take care of St. Louis in the opening round of the Atlantic Ten tournament. For starters, LaSalle is hot of late, winning four in a row and coupled with the fact that St. Louis has lost their last three, I feel very confident that the trends will continue. Moreover, what the hell is a Billiken? To answer your question, the Billiken is a charm like doll in the mold of an elf that was created by some broad in St. Louis Missouri, who claimed to have seen this figure in a dream. Well, the billiken is gay and I cannot condone any action on such a mascot. The Chuck will take LaSalle for 300 units. There are many games that I fancy so stay tuned.

Back for more
Okay, I know that playing these many games is not prudent but the Chuck does not adhere to traditional wisdom. At least St. John's took care of the Chuck by beating Georgetown outright. In his infinite wisdom, the Chuck will play yet another game. I like Cleveland State to cover the six points they are receiving from Butler in tonight's Horizon League's matchup. In their two previous meetings Butler narrowly escaped both by a slim 2 point margin. The Chuck has a feeling that Cleveland State will win this game outright. Thus, I will take Cleveland State and the points for a tune of 300 units and strongly urge you to do the same. The Chuck will report back to you tomorrow when he is counting his newly minted coin.
More plays
The Chuck has thrown caution to the wind and has a bevy of picks for you tonight. Let's start in the Association where the Chuck likes the mountain men of Utah to cover the 3 1/2 points they are laying on the road against the Pacers of Indiana. If you have been following me since the inception of this blog, you are well aware of my affinity for Utah. They just take care of the Chuck and seeing that they have won 11 games in a row and have covered 8 of the 11, the Chuck feels especially good about this game. I will take Utah for 300 units.
Staying in the NBA, the Chuck is also fond of San Antonio covering the 5 points they are laying against Charlotte. Although Charlotte is hot of late, winning their last six, only one of their victories have come against clubs with winning records. Look for San Antonio to win this game going away and covering comfortably. I will lay another 300 units on the Spurs.
Switching to the Collegiate level, where the Chuck has been struggling of late, I will stay in the Big East. I like Seton Hall to cover the 4 1/2 points they are laying to South Florida. We are especially fond of this game and will lay another 300 units. Currently, I am in the midst of pulling the trigger on a couple of other games but I have to inspect them more closely. Stay tuned to see if I do pull the trigger.

Cincy Sucks
How does Cincinnati get dominated by a team that has lost god knows how many in a row? Not the start the Chuck has envisioned so far. I just laid another 300 units on St. John's to cover the seven points they are receiving against a struggling Hoya squad. Hopefully, this one will turn out better. I will post tonight's NBA and college plays shortly.
Treading water
The Chuck went 1-1 last night, hitting his NBA play and losing his NCAA play. Charleston disappointed the Chuck and he wishes nothing but ill fate for them. On the night I dropped another 140 units shrinking my total units to 3,930. I am excited as the Big East Tournament kicks off today and a bevy of games are had to be won. The first game on the board is Depaul and Cincinnati, with Cincy laying 8 points. Depaul is just a horrible team and they have continuously dominated in league play. Cincinnati at 18-13 needs to perform well in the Big East tournament and I suspect will dominate the Blue Demons. As you know, the Chuck has a healthy aversion to any team whose moniker is fashioned after a demonic figure whose color is blue (i.e., blue demon or blue devil). Hence, I will take Cincy to cover the 8 points for a health 300 units and suggest you do the same. I need to study the other games before I post my picks. Hopefully, today will be the day the Chuck breaks out of this god forsaken funk.

Conference Tournament Plays
After analyzing the remaining conference tourney games, one in particular has caught the Chuck's attention. Charleston is laying 2 1/2 points against Chattanooga and for the life of me, I cannot understand how this line is so low. Charleston is coming off a nice win against Davidson and is a solid squad and Chattanooga is barely a .500 team. Could be a trap game but the Chuck does not care. He will take Charleston laying the 2 1/2 for 400 units. I really do not like any other games but will look further to see if that changes.
Get on the Chuck Wagon
Listen, I understand that I will not get every game correctly but I am telling you, I will be rolling soon. I am close, I can feel it in my bones. I just have to stay away from these marginal plays that keep plaguing me. Well, this weekend was less than stellar and I lost combined a combined 440 units this weekend, bringing my ever shrinking bankroll to 4,070 unit. Duke just disgusts me and how they push that game on some garbage call dumbfounds me. Either way, I have erased the memories of my past and will forge forward with winners aplenty.
I like in the association, Detroit to cover that number against Orlando. The line is currently set at pickems and seeing that Detroit has won 6 of the last 7 meetings, including 4 in a row, the Chuck will go with the flow and take Detroit for 300 units. There are currently no lines set for the NCAA conference tournament action and I have yet to study any further plays. I will post any further plays as soon as the lines are out. In the meantime, I will actually do some work before I am downsized.

UNC v. Duke
Here is my list of plays for today as of this morning. I like one game for now. The Chuck will take UNC to cover the 8 points they are laying against this pathetic Duke squad for 500 units. Yesterday the Chuck lost his two early games and went 2-1 in his late games and dropped another 390 units on the day. For all those who doubt whether the Chuck will prevail, don't. I will always come out on top, unlike most of you. To my anonymous poster who lost the two early games with me, do not fret. Stick with the Chuck and you will be driving a new car filled with loads of hot babes admiring you. Take it to the bank, the Chuck has spoken.

F*** This
Okay, I am thoroughly pissed. I have three more plays each for 300 units. I like Louisville (-2 1/2) over WVU; George Mason (-4) over James Madison; and Xavier (-6) over Richmond.
Early plays
The Chuck went 2-1 last night, regaining his winning ways for a net total of 270 units. With his winnings, the Chuck's total now stands at 4,510 units. As for today, I like two early plays. The first play is in the big east between UConn and Pitt. Pitt is laying 3 1/2 points at home and again, I like UConn for the simple fact that I do not see Pitt sweeping the season series. Accordingly, I will take UConn and th points for 400 units.
My next game is between Penn State and Iowa with Iowa laying 3 points at home. I like Penn State to cover this number and will take them for 300 units. I will spare you the indepth analysis that I prepared in giving you these two winners. Just know this, even when I am guessing I am still better than you. Keep posted for any additional picks.

NJ v. Orlando
For my final play of the day, I look to the eastern conference matchup between Orlando and New Jersey. The line is set at Orlando -9 at home against the NJ Nets. Orlando has dominated the Nets at home and I do not see why that would change. Although the Chuck thinks Stan Van Gundy is a fat pile of dung heap, he will nonetheless back Orlando in tonight's matchup. Dwight Howard is an absolute animal and Rashard Lewis is cold killer and I suspect they will do a number on the hapless Nets. Also, the Chuck cannot possibly comprehend the fact that an ex college towel boy is running the show in New Jersey. I will take the Magic and lay the points for a grand sum of 300 units. I am fully confident that I will be basking in all of my well deserved glory when I go 3-0 tonight.
James Madison v. William and Mary
In my efforts to bring you all my wagering wisdom, I have found a gem of a game. The matchup is between James Madison and William and Mary with JMU being favored by 3 points. I am awfully fond of James Madison in this matchup and anticipate an easy cover by JMU. I have a reliable source who informs me that this game will not be close and that I should be pounding the JMU side for a hefty sum. As such, the Chuck will take JMU to cover the three points for 300 units. I am still in the process of sifting through tonight's games and will keep you informed when I make my next move. I assure you, I am on the verge of breaking out of this mini slump and will take my rightful title as the best handicapper alive.
Don't count the Chuck out
I know you are snickering at the Chuck's latest misfortunes, but I suggest you wise up. The Chuck may be in a little slump but by no means is he done. I went 1-2 last night dropping another 360 units lowering my total to 4,340 units. Providence disgusts me with their multitude of turnovers. Who knew a team could turn the ball over 1 out of every 3 possessions? I hope they lose out and miss the NCAA tourney for failing to cover the number when the Chuck publicly backed them. South Carolina also makes me want to vomit with that putrid performance. I hope they lose out as well. At least the gay ass Mavericks got boot stomped and I didn't go 0-3 for two nights in a row. I am not to be trifled with today as the last two nights have clearly put me in one ornery mood.
I have had a chance to glance at tonight's slate of games and I do like several of them. The only wager that I have actually placed though was on tonights matchup between Cleveland and Boston in the NBA. I cannot uderstand how this line is only set at Boston laying a measly 2 points at home. I have this line set at Boston laying 4 or 5 and thus, I will gladly take the Celtics laying the 2 for 300 units. I will post my additional plays shortly but do not forget, even when I am losing I am still better than you.

Rest of tonight's plays
I have two more plays for tonight. I will continue to bet against those gay ass Mavericks and since they are coming off a back to back, I suspect they will be tired. New Orleans is favored by six points and the Chuck will back them for 300 units. Besides their gay ass name, the Mavericks, I despise Mark Cuban. He is an abomination and the Chuck cannot endorse such a clown. You are more than welcome to bet on the Mavericks but do so at your own peril. I, myself, will bet against them and suspect I will be counting my riches tomorrow morning.
Switching to the collegiate game, I like South Carolina to cover the number in their matchup with Tennessee. The line is currently set at South Carolina laying 2 points at home. The Chuck likes the Gamecocks to do a number on the Volunteers. Again, what the heck is a Volunteer? On the mascot gayness scale, I would have to rate the Volunteer as being extremely gay and thus, would have no reservations betting against them. Besides, the Gamecock is often wielding sharp blades on their feet and I suspect that the fine feathered fowl will do some serious damage to the weak ass Volunteer. Hence, the Chuck will lay another 300 units on South Carolina laying the 2 points. Remember boys and girls, never listen to strangers unless it happens to be the Chuck.

Oh the pain
The Chuck had an off night as he went 0 for the night and completely shit the bed. Yes, this does happen once in a while and please do not be alarmed. However, I am ready to bounce back with a monster night tonight. My picks last night were just horrid and I am ready to redeem myself with winners galore. With my 1210 unit drubbing last night, my new total stands at 4,700 units.
Looking at the early morning lines, I am fond of several plays but only placed one wager so far. In the Providence at Villanova matchup, I like Providence to cover that number. The number is set at Villanova at -11. Providence needs this game to have a chance at the big dance and though I am hesitant to bet against the Cats on their senior night, I feel as if Providence keeps this game close. Accordingly, the Chuck will take Providence getting the 11 points for 300 units. I will post any additional plays soon. In the meantime, I suggest you do not gloat over my recent misfortunes because the Chuck always gets the last laugh.

Additional plays for tonight
I just came back from an afternoon run and I have isolated two more winners for you to take advantage of tonight. The Chuck happened to glance upon the Seton Hall at Louisville matchup when he saw that the line was set at Louisville -16 1/2. This line seems a bit egregious and the Chuck had to pinch himself to make sure that the line was set correctly. Lo and behold, much to the Chuck's surprise and glee, Louisville is set as 16 1/2 point favorites. Listen, this Seton Hall team is not that bad and they will cover this ludicrous number. As the Chuck is always combing the board for value plays such as this, he will take the Seton Hall Pirates for grand sum of 400 units.
For my next play, I will shift gears to the association and I will continue to bet against those gay ass mavericks. They play host to San Antonio tonight and are a 2 1/2 point favorite. I cannot see them winning this game and hence, I will take the Spurs and the points for a nifty 300 units. I fully intend on going 3-0 tonight, so you better take notice. For all of you who are not aware, there is no one my equal and I will prove to be victorious once again.

Get ready for the Chuck roll
Again the Chuck stands victorious among the mortal handicappers. I hit all three games last night, as promised, and I added another 1,000 units to my ever increasing bankroll, which now stands at 5,910 units. Do not try to comprehend the Chuck, just appreciate the greatness that he is and coat tail him to greater wealth and fortune.
On a side note, I have been issued a challenge by my co-worker who does not believe that the Chuck can run a marathon. Specifically, he challenged me that I will not be able to finish the marathon in under 4 hours by September. At first, I was a bit reluctant to accept such a lofty challenge, seeing that the most I have ever run in my life is five miles and that was some time ago. However, due to my ever increasing girth, I gladly accepted the challenge and will train earnestly to accomplish this goal. As a consequence, I have been running of late and I must tell you, I feel fantastic. My mind is clear and I have been able to pick winners with great clarity. Currently, I can run 3 miles in 27 minutes. I know that I am not setting any new records, however, I feel confident that I will be able to finish a marathon in under 4 hours by September. And yes, we do have a handsome wager riding on this so I will train in earnest.
As for tonight's action, I have only had a chance to take a brief gander and only one game seems worthy of the Chuck's time and attention. I happened to glance at the Oklahoma Sooners getting 4 points at Missouri. I understand that this looks like a trap game but the Chuck has discounted that notion and believes that Blake Griffin is back and better than ever and OU will administer a severe beat down to the over inflated Tigers of Missouri. The Chuck prognosticates that the Sooners, after going in a semi lull, will rebound with great vengeance and fury and will win this game outright. Accordingly, the Chuck will take Sooners and the points for a tidy sum of 400 units. I will post additional winners after I have had a chance to analyze the action. Until then, just remember that the Chuck is capable of ripping off 20 to 30 games in a row because he is better than you.

NBA play for tonight
I have one association game that I am quite fond of. Since I am pressed for time, I will spare you the in depth analysis and extreme number crunching that I have done to give you this gem of a play. If you want to make some money tonight, take the Charlotte Bobcats to cover the measly 2 points at home against the woeful Bulls. I, myself, will be taking the Bobcats for a nifty 300 units. There you go, another winner to add to the ever growing total of winners. Just in case you forgot, I am the best handicapper this world has ever seen so I suggest you start listening. Peace.
Bet against Duke
I will continue to ride my disdain for those hated Blue Devils of Duke University. I cannot understand how this team continues to get the love from the line setters. Currently the line is set at Duke -12 1/2 against Florida State. I will take FSU for a nifty 400 units to cover this number and would not be in the least bit surprised if they win this game outright. I am telling you, this Duke team is way overrated and I will be exploiting numbers such as this one until the line setters finally get a clue. Until then, I will happily take these over inflated numbers they send the Chuck's way. I have yet to finish my analysis for all of the games tonight and will post any additional plays soon. Until then, always remember that if you don't know who to play, bet against Duke. Peace.
Accounting Mishap
The Chuck completely forgot to mention that the night before his hiatus he went 1-2, dropping 580 units. So before entering last night's action my true total was not 4,490 but was 3,910 units. I apologize for any confusion but I want the record to be straight so there will be no doubters when I reach my ultimate goal of 1 million units.
Now for last night's action, the Chuck hit all three of his games, as promised, and collected a cool 1,000 units pushing his total up to 4,910 units. I must tell you, I am feeling prime for an unprecedented run in both college and pro hoops. A quick look at tonight's action has led me to one solid play off the bat. I will focus in on an ACC clash between Wake Forest and Maryland. Maryland beat Wake earlier this year and just as I thought that Notre Dame could not sweep Villanova, I do not think that Maryland will sweep Wake in their season series. Asides, I have been watching this Maryland team closely and I sincerely do not think that they can win this game. The line is currently set at Wake laying 1 1/2 points and the Chuck will take Wake to cover this paltry number for 300 units. I have yet to look at the entire slate of games in earnest and I will be posting any further plays, if any, later on in the day. Until then, remember that I am the best handicapper this world has ever seen.

Ready to set the world on fire
The Chucky is all rested and ready to set the handicapping world on fire. On Friday, the Chuck went 1-1 dropping 30 units setting his total 4,490 units. There are several games that pique the Chuck's interest tonight and he is feeling generous enough to share them with you. First on his plate of games is the matchup between Villanova and Notre Dame, with the line currently set at ND laying 3 1/2 points. In their earlier matchup this year, ND won by double digits at Villanova. ND is a desperate team and the Chuck understands that a desperate team should not be bet against. However, in this instance, the Chuck feels as if ND is not capable of sweeping their big east foes. Villanova should bounce back from their dismal performance against Georgetown and rebound to win this game outright. Accordingly, I will take the Wildcats to cover the 3 1/2 for 300 units.
Next, we shift our focus to the Citadel and Georgia Southern, with the line currently set at Citadel laying 5 1/2 points. Georgia Southern is deplorable and the Citadel is one game shy of winning their 20th game. The Chuck will take the Citadel to cover this number easily and will put 400 units on the Citadel.
Finally, we move over to the association and will focus on the Dallas Mavericks at Oklahoma City Thunder matchup. Again, we feel that the Mavericks are over rated and their mascot is exceedingly gay. With the line set at Dallas -5 1/2, the Chuck will lay 300 units on the Thunder to cover this number. There you have it, a perfect 3-0 for all of you who have been waiting for the Chuck to break out of his slumber. I said it before and I will say it again, when in doubt go with the Chuck because, quite simply, he is better than you. Peace.
