I was going to take my lumps like a man and maybe sit back for the rest of the day but I just cannot let some of these games unattended. I got lucky with the Providence game as they squeaked out a push. I did not get so lucky with the LaSalle game and lost 330 units. But never fear, I have a whole slew of games to make my loot back. For those of you who are unaware, I am somewhat of a phenomenon, so take notice as I get ready to unleash my fury on the sportsbooks everywhere.
I will start with my plays in the Association tonight. The first game involves those merry mountain men of Utah against the Atlanta Hawks. The line is set at the Hawks laying 2 points at home. I suspect the only reason why the Hawks are favored in this contest is because Utah is on the second leg of a back to back. I, for one, will not heed such frivolous warnings and I think the Jazz will win their 13th game in a row. As the old adage goes, a trend is a trend is a trend. Anyways, there is no reason for me to think that the Hawks can stop this runaway train. The Jazz have Boozer and Kirilenko back and Deron Williams is a cold killer. In light of the above mentioned facts, I will place another 300 units on the Jazz to take care of me one more time.
Next, I will look to the Boston at Miami matchup. This game looks especially juicy, given the fact that Boston owns Miami. Boston has won their last six meetings against Miami, covering five of these meetings. I do admit that the injury to Rondo is somewhat of a concern, however, I think Marbury breaks out in this game. Currently, the line is set at Miami laying 3 1/2 points. It seems to the Chuck that this line is grossly maladjusted and I will look to take advantage accordingly. I will take the Celtics for a nifty 300 units.
Switching to the collegiate level, I look to the PAC 10 conference and the Stanford/Oregon State matchup. As you are well aware, the PAC 10 has been the bane of my existence and as a general rule, I try to avoid such matchups. Seeing that this is conference tourney season, I feel that it is an appropriate time for me to step back into the arena. The line is set at Stanford giving 7 points. I do not see Stanford covering this number nor do I see them winning this game. Although Stanford desperately needs this game to have any chance of making the tournament, it is of my opinion that they do not have the intestinal fortitude to achieve this task. In their two earlier meetings, Oregon State dominated both meetings winning by double digits in both games. Besides, there is a little known conspiracy floating out there that an executive order has been handed down by President Obama himself to help out his brother in law, who happens to be the head coach of OSU. I do not acknowledge the veracity of such reports, but I am of the belief that Stanford sucks. Look for OSU to win this game outright. I will put another 300 units on those feisty Beavers to cover this number.
If I see any other games worthy of posting I will do so. Until then, I suggest you start listening to my advice. For all of those who cannot fathom the greatness that is the Chuck, I suggest you wise up and start realizing that I am at the pinnacle of my game.
