Getting ready for Divisional Championships

As I was driving into work today, I was really tempted to call up my man to lay an obscene amount on the under in the Baltimore/Pittsburgh matchup this Sunday. Currently the total is set at 34 and as tempting as it was to bite on this number, I've decided to lay off for now. I feel comfortorable with my current 500 unit play on the Ravens at +6 1/2 and will be looking to augment my position if I find favorable lines out there. You might be asking why I am so confident that Baltimore covers this number. Well there are actually several reasons why I am picking the Ravens.

First and foremost, the Ravens Defense will not give up more than 14 points. Granted Ray Lewis is getting up there in years, however, I still rate getting hit by him as one of my top five least favorite things I have to do, right up there with bathing in lemon juice after running through a rose patch. Ray Lewis aside, this Baltimore Defense is much more than the Ravens Defense of the past where a lot was predicated on the play of Lewis. This Defense has the likes of Ed Reed, who is undisputably, without question, the best safety in the game today. More so than Lewis, Ed Reed has the capability of breaking open game on the defensive side of the ball. This Ravens Defense is such a disruptive force, I can't see the Steelers doing much of anything. Willie Parker may try to run up the middle up but he will most likely be met by Haloti Ngota and the rest of this imposing defense. Big Ben may be gritty and tough but when the likes of Terrell Suggs is chasing hm relentlessly, I cannot envision a good ending to his day. Mike Tyson once said, "Everybody got plans....until they get hit". This Ravens Defense will hard and they will hit often and they will hit with bad intentions leaving the Steelers Offense in disarray.

Secondly, Joe Flacco is one cool cat and has a cannon for an arm. Nothing phases this Kid and he does not get flustered under pressure. He makes smart decisions and has the uncanny ability to make a play when his team needs it the most. He always has team in a position to win the game and I see no reason for any deviation this time around. He will find a way to post at least 14 points against the Steelers Defense.

Last but most importantly, the reason why the Ravens will cover this number and probably win this game outright is because I have deemed it so. The Chuck rules the NFL and it would behoove you simpletons to follow his lead. I assure you that I am better than any computer system or useless research letter you are currently employing while on route to another losing season. Stop the madness, listen to the Chuck and sit back while the riches come pouring in.

I do like one NBA game tonight. Although it is my weakest sport I am currently working out the kinks on my crystal ball and I should be in full flight soon enough. Anyways, take the Chicago Bulls and the8 1/2 points against the Cavs tonight. I myself will lay 200 units on it. Until next time, always remember only a madman bets against Chucky Chill.
